PJMD Architects, previously known as Philip Johnson Alan Ritchie Architects, is a Houston based Architectural firm focusing on innovative and cutting edge designs. 

 

The firm's roots extend back to the leadership of Philip Johnson, who is recognized as one of the most influential Architects of the 20th century.

Philip Johnson guided the firm's design into new and exciting directions that created some of the  most iconic buildings of the 20 century.

In 2018, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, who inherited Philip's estate, requested the Philip Johnson name be retired as were Mr. Johnson's wishes. Now, under the leadership of Marko Dasigenis, who used to work with Philip Johnson at the New York office, the firm continues to deliver cutting edge designs utilizing the same aesthetic philosophy that brought it to the pinnacle of architecture.

The firm’s philosophy is founded on the belief that understanding the client’s desires, needs and goals is an essential first step in generating designs that are functionally and aesthetically successful.
